When it comes to financing a short sale, there is nothing short about it.

There is nothing short about the financing and nothing short about the short sale. A client was telling me last week about how long it took her when she bought the home she just sold as a short sale. Her purchase as a short sale in 2006 took about 2 weeks. All this time, she thought that's why it was called a short sale. When she sold it as a short sale this time, it took almost a year.
